People

One2three was formed in 2005 and is an independent design house with experience in commercial and private vessels for the domestic and international markets. One2three employs 10 Naval Architects and experienced draftsmen at our offices in Sydney and Fremantle.

Experience

The design team at One2three have extensive marine industry experience covering 25 years and over 150 vessels with various shipyards and design houses, and more recently as One2three. One2three staff have gained international experience with a range of Classification Societies and Flag States; including DNV, Lloyds, BV, USCG, UK MCA, Japanese JG/NK, Australian USL/NMSC (MAST, NSW Maritime, Qld DoT), Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, Bahamas and Bermuda.

Success

Our combined personal experiences include the development and successful commercialisation of world-first projects, such as "Triumphant" – a 55m trimaran ferry – and MY "White Rabbit" – the world's-first 60m trimaran motoryacht. Our highly-efficient hull forms and advanced design technology resulted in design team members winning the coveted Red Funnel project (the oldest operating ferry company in the world) and many other discerning operators where fuel efficiency is a high priority .

Service

In addition to vessel design, One2three have provided consultancy services to private industry, defence and government agencies, university programs and have undertaken expert-witness work. One2three also have experience modelling three-dimensional ship systems and equipment layouts with a view to minimising production time and cost.
