7m Unmanned Sailing Drone
Ocius' 3rd generation unmanned sailing drones are built for long range ocean monitoring. The eight vessels use wind, wave and solar power to operate autonomously. Their payload is a towed array stored on a winch cassette in the keel, which can be deployed on demand.
They have a forward rudder/propulsion flipper that provides course-holding forward velocity and stabilisation in rough ocean seas. The hull contains state of the art electronics and sensors which allows live tracking and data feedback.
