8m NRMA Electric Ferry

Barangaroo and Wallaru are 8m Electric Ferries owned by NRMA and operating in Darling Harbour, Sydney. Formerly powered by diesel engines, One2Three were responsible for re-powering the vessels to become fully electric. With one electric motor (30kW) powered by two TF LiFEPO4 batteries (total 144V-200Ah), these ferries are efficient, quiet, and produce zero emissions. The electric and control systems are also designed with the future potential to be fully autonomous.

The vessels sit 16 passengers comfortably on a spacious deck with clear windows that can be opened or rolled up, through which passengers can take in the sights of Darling Harbour on the way to their destination.
